Crisis of Success

Surprisingly, the toughest challenge to a person’s character is not adversity, but how one deals with the privileges and pressures of success.

With the privileges of success come a greater sense of responsibility and many times people have “encore anxiety,” the fear that they won’t be able to repeat or sustain earlier achievements.

God give talents and skills to each person and He wants us to make the most of them for His glory. And that’s the key: His glory, not ours. When we earn it and make the most of it God’s way, we realize it’s the only way to truly enjoy success.

“For to everyone who has will more be given, and he will be furnished richly so that he will have an abundance; but from the one who does not have, even what he does will be taken away.” Matthew 25:29
